Our goal for 2023 is to complete 30 projects over the year to mark 30 years of Burren Chernobyl Project. We’re sharing that journey here with you all as none of it would have been possible without you. Following on from last weeks post about the Frunzenskaya flats (read here if you missed it), this week we wanted to share a happy news story from our friends in Cherven.

One of the projects from the summer was funding a group of young people from Cherven orphanage to partake in a summer camp. Cherven is home to almost 300 children and young people. The groups are big and busy.
Opportunities like this are such an essential time of respite for the young people, an opportunity to experience new places and make memories. They had a jam-packed week with outings such as trips to the zoo and the Dolphin aquarium pictured above. There was also lots of fun to be had at the campsite with lots of sports and creative activities. This was a fantastic opportunity for the whole group, who are all looking forward to the next already! |
We have lots more projects to share and still many to achieve. We appreciate your continued support in our efforts and graciously accept your help in whatever manner is accessible to you, be it a donation, a like, share or comment on social media. Every little helps!
Thank you, go raibh maith agaibh, Спасибо! |
