Each year we hold a fundraiser on the Anniversary of the Chernobyl Nuclear disaster in memory of those who suffered and in aid of those who continue to suffer. 
This year our fundraiser will focus is on the building of the Independent Living house in Gorodishche Orphanage for young people with disabilities more specifically raising the funds for the plumbing of the house. Please read below for a full understanding of the significance of this house and it's life changing abilities.

Students and staff from Good Counsel College, New Ross have been working tirelessly over the past two years fundraising for Gorodishche Orphanage.
Last May a group of TY students travelled to Belarus to volunteer with children and young adults with physical and intellectual disabilities. Last week the group were recognised for their work at the Garda Youth Awards.
