Hi everyone! We hope you are keeping well at this strange and uncertain time. It's a particlarly challenging time for charities as the new restrictions on public gatherings mean all our planned spring and summer fundraisers will not be able to go ahead, including churchgate collections, cycles etc. We are holding an online appeal instead for help with the continuous running costs and expenses of our programmes and also to help with extra items that are needed in these difficult times. |
Due to the Coronavirus situation a number of things have changed in Belarus, no children are allowed to travel abroad with charities also no volunteers are allowed to visit the institutions, meaning we have no volunteers travelling to Belarus to work in the Care Camps in Cherven or Gorodishche.
BCP are in touch with our orphanages on a regular basis and continue to support the needs of all our friends there.
We continue to provide funds for:
· Peg feeding systems for children in Cherven and Gorodishche
· NG feeding tubes
· Pampers/nappies on an ongoing basis in the children’s orphanages and in several adult asylums.
· Medical needs
We have also been asked for continued and further help with:
· Disinfectant
· Hand sanitiser
· Wipes
· Food supplements (also yogurts, honey, vitamins.)
· Detergents
· Soap
As mentioned above, for the foreseeable future, we cannot organise any group activities in Ireland to fund-raise and church-gate collections are closed.
Instead we have simply opened an iDonate page and we will leave it open for the coming months in order for anyone who wishes to contribute to these special ongoing needs to do so easily and safely. Please press the button below.

A huge thank you to those who have already lodged some very generous donations of money raised for their volunteer trips in the upcoming months. These have made a huge difference.
Contributions may of course also be made directly to BCP bank account.
Please put your name on any donation so we can know who it is from.
