Yazovki is home to 250 people, Pukhavichi 420 and Svir 150. These people either have a disability or are elderly or are both. Meaning they all fall into the vulnerable categories. With numbers this high you can imagine the dense living conditions making social distancing impossible.
Life in these places can be quite difficult at the best of times. The needs in these institutions are particularly acute, neither the staff nor the residents have appropriate protection, the protection they deserve.
Again, we ask for your help. In any way, we understand everyone is financially pressed as this time but we've seen the power of social media so if you can please share this with everyone. The more that are aware of the critical situation the more hope we have of helping.
