2020 CHERNOBYL ANNIVERSARY Now perhaps we know Perhaps we understand a little better. How Chernobyl radiation spread quietly through Belarus. When no one knew. When no one told. Now perhaps we know Perhaps we understand a little better What it is like to spend your life locked away, even if that is in your own home. And other people make all the decisions over your life. Now perhaps we don’t know Perhaps we do not understand at all How Masha and Artium and Sergei and all the others Can tell us: ‘Всё будит харашо!’ ‘All will be well!’ Volunteers/Supporters Our target is not just thousands of euro. Our target is to keep the virus out of Gorodishche! Br. Liam O'Meara |
As days turned into weeks and weeks turn into months, we are all beginning to get frustrated. We miss our old lives, we miss family, friends, work. We miss going to the cinema and the gym. We don't know when, but we hope life will return to normal soon. This fear, this unknown has many anxious and scared. We're in uncharted waters.
For our friends in Belarus, the situation is critical. The sheer enormity of which is still unknown. These institutions have limited PPE, limited medical equipment, limited sanitation equipment, immunocompromised children and elderly people, positive Covid 19 case numbers increasing daily, no space for physical distancing in dense living conditions and no one to turn to.
Our target is not to reach a certain amount of money, our target, our hope, our will is to save lives, to prevent Covid 19 from reaching new places and stopping it from spreading further in the orphanages and asylums already affected. For this we need your support.
Please if you can, donate. If you're unable to, that's no problem but please please share with all your loved ones.
They are relying on us.
Thank you. Go raibh míle maith agaibh. Cпасибо вам.
